The filmmaker won the feature documentary Oscar in 2014 for “20 Feet From Stardom.” If you’re a fan of Fred Rogers, you may also be familiar with Neville’s acclaimed film, “Won’t You Be My Neighbor." And now, with "They'll Love Me When I'm Dead," Neville chronicles Orson Welles' failed effort to complete his final film. Neville spoke with John Horn prior to his film's debut at the Telluride Film Festival.

Oscars won't have a Most Popular award in 2019

The Academy of Motion Pictures today announced it would not have a Most Popular Movie category at the 2019 Oscars. The Academy’s original decision to introduce the category was met with a lot of questions and derision. The Academy now says it needs more time to determine the guidelines for the category.
