The digital platform Seed & Spark is aiming to create a new model for content makers to create a sustainable career. One of its first ventures into original programming is a comedy showcase for women called "Everything Is Fine!" John Horn spoke with the founders before a taping of the special.

Getting dazed in the desert

Now in its 7th year, Desert Daze is hailed as one of the best alternative music festivals around. The music website Consequence of Sound says it could be the festival of 2018. That’s despite the fact that Desert Daze has switched locations four times in its short lifetime — not because of noise or traffic complaints, but because it keeps growing. The Frame contributor Steven Cuevas visited the festival’s new location in Riverside County to speak with Desert Daze co-founder Phil Pirrone.
