Here's the lineup for today's show:

'Blindspotting' is a tough-minded paean to friendship and home

(Starts at 7:45)

The co-writers, co-stars and longtime friends behind "Blindspotting" describe the film as "a buddy comedy in a world that won't let it be one." The film tackles police brutality, gentrification, and the uncomfortable reality of never fully understanding another person’s experience — even your best friend's. "Blindspotting" is a collaboration between Daveed Diggs — from the original Broadway cast of “Hamilton” — and Rafael Casal, a musician and poet. The two grew up together in Oakland and the script is as much an ode to their hometown as it is to their friendship.

Why did 'Skyscraper' fall to Earth?

(Starts at :45)

The latest blockbuster starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson opened to disappointing results at the box office. Are audiences suffering from "Rock" fatigue?

Guest: Rawson Marshall Thurber, writer/director of "Skyscraper"

Will 'Black Panther' dominate the cos-play scene at Comic-Con?

(Starts at 19:05)

Take your Comic-Con costume tips from Ruth Carter. Over the course of her 30-year career she has designed costumes for more than 40 feature films. She has also earned two Academy Award nominations for costume design, for Spike Lee's "Malcolm X" and Steven Spielberg's "Amistad." She discusses her design process for the clothing of "Black Panther" and constructing costumes that honor and respect the women of Wakanda.
