The new Apple TV+ series, "Mythic Quest: Raven's Banquet," is a workplace comedy set in a video game development company. As the company launches its first expansion of "Mythic Quest," a mega-popular multiplayer online role-playing game, tensions rise between the game's self-centered creative director Ian Grimm (played by Rob McElhenney) and lead engineer Poppy Li (Charlotte Nicdao). The series was co-created by McElhenney, Charlie Day and Megan Ganz, who also work together on the long-running FX series, "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia," which McElhenney also created and stars in. McElhenney and Ganz spoke with The Frame about "Mythic Quest" and how they hope the show will resonate with people with any level of knowledge of video games.

The Iger Era Ends At Disney

The Walt Disney Co. announced today that Bob Iger is immediately stepping down as CEO to make room for his successor — theme parks executive Bob Chapek. Last year, Iger announced that he would step down when his contract expires in 2021. Iger will remain with the company as Executive Chairman and will direct the company’s creative endeavors. Joining John to discuss the Disney news is Ben Fritz, West Coast bureau chief for the Wall Street Journal. He’s the author of “The Big Picture: The Fight For the Future of Movies.”

Every year, tens of thousands of people descend on the northern Netherlands for the Eurosonic music festival. It’s Europe’s version of South by Southwest, with about 350 musical acts from the UK to Ukraine. Reporter Sonia Narang visited the festival for The Frame.
