Today's special membership drive edition of The Frame is devoted entirely to John Horn's interview with Bradley Whitford. The actor is probably best known for starring in “The West Wing," and more recently for going pretty dark with roles in Jordan Peele's 2017 horror film, “Get Out," and the dystopian drama, “The Handmaid’s Tale,” on Hulu. Now, the Emmy winner is starring in an NBC sitcom called “Perfect Harmony,” as the leader of a small-town church choir. If it sounds like a big departure, Whitford says that was intentional: “I was sort of looking to do a comedy. I’ve been doing a lot of dark stuff. I kind of wanted to be on a show where the women could talk back.” Whitford spoke with John Horn about "Perfect Harmony," and about the arc of his career, before a live audience at KPCC’s open house in October.
