On today's show:

A 'Wonderful' Ol' Timey Radio Drama

(Starts at 8:04)

There's a new stage adaptation of the 1946 holiday classic, “It’s A Wonderful Life,” and it's got a meta twist. Actors read the story of George Bailey like an old fashioned radio drama, complete with 1940s decor, live sound effects and corny radio jingles. The Pasadena Playhouse production stars “The Big Bang Theory” actor Simon Helberg. He tells The Frame’s John Horn that growing up, he wasn't too familiar with the film.
