On today's show:

Geena Davis Vs. The Boys Club

(Starts at 7:44)

The actress has made a career from roles that quickly become feminist icons — in films such as "Thelma and Louise" and "A League of Their Own." And while the U.S. has yet to have a female president, Davis brought one to life in ABC's "Commander in Chief." But the overwhelming absence of quality female characters in Hollywood inspired her to launch the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media. Davis is an executive producer and appears in the new documentary, “This Changes Everything,” which opens in theaters on Aug. 9. John Horn spoke with Davis about the project and her ongoing work to create gender equity in Hollywood.
