The LA Dodgers finally have another World Series, what social service workers are doing to get the homeless vote out in LA and Nick Quah joins us again.

What Voters Are Saying Heading Into Election Day

Now to the election - the big day is next Tuesday, but already we've seen an overwhelming turnout for early voting this month - close to 2 million people have voted in Los Angeles County so far...and many more in surrounding counties. So we've been asking Southern California voters - many who are doing it for the first time and those who've never missed an election...why they vote.

Voter Outreach For The Homeless

In any election year, voting if you’re homeless is no easy task. Just getting to a polling station can be a whole ordeal, let alone having an address to register to vote. But this year, with the coronavirus pandemic hitting unhoused individuals and shelters especially hard ... those challenges have only been exacerbated.

New CSU Chancellor

The incoming California State University chancellor will be the first Mexican American to lead the 23-campus system. His ethnic and class backgrounds are resonating in different ways throughout CSU campuses. KPCC's Adolfo Guzman-Lopez reports.

Anita Hill on Sexual Harassment in Hollywood

One in five women and one in ten men working in Hollywood report sexual harassment. That's part of the findings of a commission led by Anita Hill. Most troubling was how pervasive gender harassment and bullying is and how those were "gateway behaviors" which led to further abuse. Hill tells KPCC that Hollywood has a unique place in our society to influence people's behavior and shape how we treat each other.
