Coronavirus: Nursing Home Workers
Nursing homes have been devastated by the coronavirus - - in California alone more than 5,800 residents and staff of nursing homes and other long-term care facilities have died from COVID-19. Nationally, the number is more than 84,00 deaths. Now, a new study finds that people who work at multiple nursing homes may help spread the virus. However, limiting health worker's jobs could hurt the labor pool that nursing homes rely on. KPCC's Jackie Fortier reports.
