This week in Golden State politics, LAX changes location for Uber and Lyft Pickups, Cannabis Cafe opens in West Hollywood.

LAX and Uber and Lyft

LAX announced today that it is changing its system for ride-hail pickups and taxis. Drop-offs will still be allowed curbside at the terminals, but pickup locations will be moved to a new staging area called LAX-it, that will have restrooms, benches, WiFi, cell phone charging stations -- even food trucks. Officials say the new pickup area can be reached with a short walk or ride on a new shuttle service. 

San Francisco DA moves to L.A.

San Francisco District Attorney George Gascon announced his resignation yesterday. He said he plans to move to Los Angeles, where he's expected to run for office against LA's District Attorney Jackie Lacey.
