710 Projects

The decades-long project to extend the 710 freeway is officially dead. LA Metro just approved the $500 million allocated for that 710 freeway gap closure to be utilized for other local road improvements - 34 projects total.

Doctor-Assisted Suicide

A California appeals court overturned lower court ruling that found state's assisted suicide law unconstitutional. Despite the court battle, the law has remained in effect.
