The wildfire raging along the Santa Monica Mountains
The Woolsey Fire has burned more than 90,000 acres. Two people have died and 370 structures have been destroyed. At this moment, firefighters say it's just 20 percent contained. The fire moved fast, forcing around 250,000 people to flee from Agoura Hills to Malibu. Yesterday, though, despite the fire being active in many spots and high winds kicking up some residents were able to go back home to neighborhoods around Thousand Oaks.

Why fires are becoming more destructive and intense
It's a repeated refrain in Southern California this weekend as the Woolsey Fire swept through neighborhoods from Thousand Oaks to Malibu moving from the 101 to the Pacific Ocean in a matter of hours. This is in addition to the massive, fast-moving Camp Fire up north that has killed 29 people. It's burned 113,000 acres and destroyed 6,700 structures. Wildfires seem to be burning more frequently and with more intensity. So what is going on?
