USC Awards $842 Million to Survivors of Abuse by Former Campus Gynecologist

Longtime USC campus gynecologist George Tyndall is accused of abusing hundreds of students who came to his clinic for medical care. He has been charged with felony sex abuse, and now, the University has agreed to pay $852 million to his former patients - that's on top of an earlier $215 million from a 2018 federal class-action settlement.

How LA's Neighborhoods Have Survived the Pandemic: Magnolia Park

What to Expect When Your Kids Goes Back to School

We're closely following return-to-school plans. Some big local districts will start welcoming students back to campus next week — including in Pasadena … Downey … and Santa Clarita. So will L.A. County's second-largest district, Long Beach Unified. The big one is Los Angeles Unified — that district won't start reopening campuses until April 12th. But already parents have a lot of questions about the plan. KPCC education reporter Kyle Stokes has some answers. Disneyland is Reopening - and Has Some Remodeling Plans in Play

Disneyland is reopening at the end of April, but can only operate at 15 percent capacity. So you know this will have an impact on the number of rides that’ll be open ...on the kinds of foods that’ll be offered...and how many people can queue up for any one of these things. Now, if this isn’t enough news about the Happiest Place on Earth, just yesterday Disney officials announced plans to renovate its resort in Anaheim - a project called “DisneylandForward.”
