LAUSD is the second-largest school district in the nation. KPCC's Carla Javier joins us to discuss.

They cater to newly arrived Chinese immigrants with little money and few skills. KPCC's Yingjie Wang has been reporting on these boarding houses for most of the past year. She joins us to discuss.
