Hola Mexico Festival
Hola Mexico is the largest festival dedicated to Mexican film, outside of Mexico, and it will take place in L.A. from May 31 through June 8. As Take Two contributor Betto Arcos tells us the festival ,will have a new focus this year called "The Other Mexico," addressing experiences of Mexicans rarely portrayed on screen, following the work of Alfonso Cuarón's "Roma." This year, the focus is on films addressing inequality affecting indigenous people, the Afro-Mexican population and the country's working class.
