Shake Alerts could expand from L.A. to San Bernardino and Orange Counties, HBOMax streaming service, Governor Newsom signs natural hair legislation.

We look at whether the earthquake alert system, Shake Alert L.A., should be rolled out to San Bernardino and Orange Counties. Plus, Warner Media unveils its new HBOMax streaming service. And, Governor Newsom signs a law that would prevent employers from discriminating against individuals with natural hair.

Trona Town Hall

About a thousand people showed up today at a town hall meeting in Trona to hear what officials had to say about the situation there after two earthquakes rolled through the region, followed by a few thousand aftershocks.

Shake Alert L.A.

Even if it did not alert L.A. residents when the quakes in Ridgecrest shook the area, L.A. has been way out in front developing the technology to do so. But why is the ShakeAlertLA app available only in L.A.? What about people in surrounding counties? Should there be a Shake Alert San Bernardino or Shake Alert OC?

Postpartum Laws
