We look at a new report from the Pentagon that says military bases along the coast aren't moving fast enough to protect themselves from the effects of climate change. Plus, the U.S. Department of Justice is investigating a Facebook group whose members post Islamophobic comments. And, M.G. Hennessey tells us about her new book for middle-grade readers, "The Echo Park Castaways."

The Echo Park Castaways

"The Echo Park Castaways" is a new novel for middle-grade readers about the L.A. foster care system. It's about four very different kids who are housed together and the connection they forge that helps them overcome obstacles and create their own found family.
