ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE TO INVESTIGATE SHERIFFS DEPARTMENT

SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA - SEPTEMBER 18: California attorney general Xavier Becerra speaks during a news conference at the California justice department on September 18, 2019 in Sacramento, California. California Gov. Gavin Newsom, California attorney general Xavier Becerra and California Air Resources Board Chair Mary Nichols held a news conference in response to the Trump Administration's plan to revoke California’s waiver to establish vehicle emissions standards for greenhouse gas emissions and standards to require manufacturers to sell zero emissions vehicles. Under the federal Clean Air Act, California is allowed to set its own vehicle emissions standards that are at least as protective as the federal government’s standards. The state has received 100 waivers from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for higher standards than federally mandated over the past 50 years. (Photo by Justin Sullivan/Getty Images)

For the past few weeks, we've been asking our listeners to call in and tell us how they're doing. Yesterday, we asked how folks are feeling as we enter the Biden-Harris administration.

HOW YA FEELING LA, PT. 2

This year has been crazy and through it all we've been asking our listeners to let us know how they're feeling. This week we heard many reactions to the change of leadership in the White House. Relief and joy were among the feelings even while knowing there's still lots of work ahead.

HOW TO GET A VACCINE WITHOUT A CAR?

LOS ANGELES, CA - MARCH 28: People ride a Metro train on March 28, 2018 in Los Angeles, California. Between 2016 and 2017, public transit ridership fell in the country's seven largest transit markets- New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, D.C., San Francisco, Boston and Philadelphia. Researchers conclude losses stem from lower gas prices, increased teleworking, a rise in the use of Uber and Lyft, along with other factors. (Photo by Mario Tama/Getty Images)

While Los Angeles County has recently opened several large COVID-19 vaccine distribution hubs, at this point they are all set up as drive-throughs. For Angelenos without access to a car, this can pose difficult accessibility problems.
