Instead of partying, he celebrated his win with three African American heros of the day-- the NFL star Jim Brown, the singer Sam Cooke and activist Malcolm X. The story of that night is told in the new Amazon movie "One Night in Miami," directed by Oscar-winning actress Regina King and written by Kemp Powers. Powers is also the co-writer and co-director of Pixar's "Soul."
