Tipping etiquette

If you've been in an Uber or eaten at a restaurant or hired a furniture mover, the experience usually ends the same way —with a tip or at least the expectation that you'll give one. There are more situations today where people are expected to tip than just two years ago, according to a new survey from Consumer Reports. The magazine looked into the gratuity economy for its February issue ... and found that the system is filled with inequities, discrimination, even fraud. We get more details on how much to tip, and in what circumstances.
