Coronavirus Sick Time Rights
There have been 33 confirmed positive tests for the coronavirus — called COVID-19. It's a cause for concern but not necessarily alarm. A study by the Chinese government says the vast majority of COVID-19 cases — 81 percent — were mild and that those affected made a full recovery. Most mild cases resembled the common cold so to stop its spread means taking simple steps that many of us are familiar with, like washing hands with soap. But there's another important one that many of us might not even use to our benefit —paid sick leave.

On May 4th, 1962, Malcolm X held a press conference in downtown LA ...in response to a bloody altercation between LAPD officers and members of the Nation of Islam. This press conference - held at the old Statler Hilton Hotel - was one of the few opportunities during Malcolm X's life where the press could ask direct questions of him...and that tape you just heard is the only footage that remains.
