On Thursday's program, we bring you a new documentary from KPCC's Investigative Team that takes a hard look at life for tenants at the bottom of the housing market and the landlords who do little to improve the subpar — and often unsafe — conditions they live in. It's called STUCK: Deceit, disrepair, and death inside a Southern California rental empire. KPCC's Aaron Mendelson spent more than a year at some of these rundown buildings, talking with tenants ...and trying to understand how things got so bad without any improvement or intervention from the owners.
