Rep. Schiff on investigating the President

Over the weekend Congressman Adam Schiff raised the prospect of jail time for the President after federal prosecutors said Friday he directed his former lawyer to make hush payments to women that he allegedly had affairs with while campaigning for president.

Jose Huizar and downtown L.A.

The FBI recently raided the offices of L.A. City Councilman Jose Huizar, and the lawmaker has been stripped of several important committee assignments. Huizar has been a champion of downtown L.A.'s revitalization, so we talk to various stakeholders to see if they think that downtown L.A.'s rise can continue if Huizar is forced from office.

Pasadena Obstetrician

Allegations of misconduct continue to mount against a Pasadena-based Obstetrician. In an ongoing investigation, the Los Angeles Times found 20 women who claim Doctor Patrick Sutton mistreated them - from unwanted sexual advances to bodily harm. The complaints go back to 1989. According to the Times, Doctor Sutton denied the accusations and continued to practice, although he is now no longer working at the hospital.

Challenging what you find disgusting

From the people who brought you the Museum of Failure comes the Disgusting Food Museum. Featuring things like frog smoothies and maggot cheese, it may seem gross to most Angelenos, but the message of the museum seems to suggest that what is delicious to one person can be revolting to another. Opened this month, the museum allows visitors to explore different foods and challenge their notions of what is and what isn’t edible. The exhibit has 80 of the world’s most disgusting foods.
