LAUSD Coronavirus Testing

LAUSD is partnering with some huge firms to ramp up a “groundbreaking” testing and contact tracing effort that will first see all employees on-campus be tested, and gradually involve testing for all teachers and students.

Coronavirus Effects on Farmworkers

As the pandemic continues, farmworkers across California continue to ensure that produce aisles remain stocked at our supermarkets. Advocates say all this work is happening without proper safety measures or guaranteed benefits to workers … making them especially vulnerable to the coronavirus and the consequences that could rise if they fall ill or lose work.
