Coronavirus Kathryn Barger

LA County's Safer at Home orders are in effect through May 15. That means among many things, that anyone going into a business has to have a mask or something made out of cloth covering their mouth and nose (and gloves). All of the employees are also required to wear one while they're working. Stores can refuse service to anyone not wearing one and fines may apply.

Coronavirus School Grades

KPCC's Kyle Stokes reports that feelings about this decision are complicated.

California Exposures

For some, reading a history book can be tedious. Word after word, paragraph after paragraph, and page after page of stuff that happened a long time ago unless you love history ... taking it all in can be a chore. But what about adding myth, then shaking that dirt off of it to reveal the true history and adding some beautiful photography to please your eyes? Well, that's a history book anyone can love. And that's exactly how Richard White crafted his new book: California Exposures-Envisioning Myth and History.
