The documentary “Whirlybird” follows Zoey Tur and Marika Gerrard, the former couple that’s known for chasing down some of Los Angeles’ most iconic news stories by helicopter. Dark secrets of abuse and shame loomed behind the scenes. John Horn talked with both Gerrard and Tur, along with Director Matt Yoka, after the film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival.
