Sean And Dylan Penn On Starring As Father And Daughter In ‘Flag Day’
In the new film “Flag Day,” Sean Penn stars as real-life counterfeiter John Vogel. Penn also directed the film, which is based on journalist Jennifer Vogel’s memoir “Flim Flam Man: The True Story of My Father’s Counterfeit Life,” (Scribner, 2005). In the film, Penn’s real-life daughter Dylan Penn takes up the role of Jennifer. John Horn talked with Sean and Dylan Penn about what it was like portraying an on-screen father-daughter duo.
