New Documentary Shows How Dr. Fauci Became A Household Name And His Continuing Impact As Pandemic Evolves

The new documentary “Fauci” looks at the life and career of Dr. Anthony Fauci, who currently serves as President Joe Biden’s chief medical officer. He became a household name during his time as a lead member of the White House Coronavirus Task Force under the Trump administration. The film is co-directed by John Hoffman and Janet Tobias. KPCC’s John Horn talked with Hoffman at the Telluride Film Festival, where the film premiered. It’s in select theaters now, including Laemmle’s Royal Theater in Santa Monica.
