Actress Carey Mulligan On ‘Promising Young Woman’ And Its Unique Take Against Rape Culture And Sexual Assault
The new film “Promising Young Woman” stars Carey Mulligan. The revenge/thriller and comedy takes on rape culture and sexual assault. Critics have praised Mulligan for her lead role in the film, which is directed by Emerald Fennell. KPCC’s John Horn got the chance to talk with Mulligan following the premiere of the film at the Sundance Film Festival last year.
