In the new film ‘Firebrand,’ viewers are transported to a more than 500-year-old story, at a time when King Henry VIII ruled England and kept that authoritative approach to his marriages as well. In the case of ‘Firebrand’ we find an older King Henry VIII in his marriage to his sixth wife, Katherine Parr; Parr endures the loss of a friend at the hands of Henry VIII and fights to have control in her relationship. Given the tyrannical nature of King Henry VII, it meant that actor Jude Law had a lot to consider when portraying the royal on the silver screen.
