Davis Signs Ab205, Domestic Partner Rights And Responsibilities Act Of 2003

State Assembly member Jackie Goldberg authored AB205, which gives gay and lesbian couples in California many of the rights now enjoyed by married couples. AB205 does not recognized gay and lesbian marriage, but it does give the same rights as married couples in areas of children, property and arrangements after death. But, not everyone agrees with AB205. In fact, State Senator William "Pete" Knight and the Proposition 22 Legal Defense and Education Fund filed a lawsuit today.Geoffrey Kors, Executive Director of Equality California also joins Larry.
