L.A. City Council Vote to Ban Lap Dancing
On Tuesday the Los Angeles City Council voted unanimously to approve an ordinance that would ban lap dancing in strip clubs and "bikini bars" and impose other restrictions on adult oriented businesses. Larry Mantle discusses the new ordinance with a council member and the attorney representing several LA strips club owners who opposed it. Joining Larry is Cindy Miscikowski, Los Angeles City Council member representing the 11th District and Roger John Diamond, Attorney representing about 20 Los Angeles strip club owners who opposed the ordinance to ban lap dancing.
Breakdown in WTO Talks
A group of twenty-one developing countries walked out of the World Trade Organization talks in Cancun over the weekend, before any major trade agreements could be reached.
