L.A.'s Murder Rate Drops To New Low

Authorities say the city of Los Angeles had the fewest numbers of homicides in June through August since 1967. There were 84 homicides in those months, which was the least recorded for that period since the 79 homicides reported in 1967. By comparison, there were 323 murders during the summer of 1991. Larry Mantle talks with LAPD Chief William Bratton about the reasons for the surprising drop.
