Stories of America's Working Poor
Living paycheck to pay check, millions of low wage workers struggle to take care of family needs, pay for food and rent. Many work several jobs but earn so little that they lack any financial cushion. As income equality grows in America more people look to food pantries and shelters as a last resort. David Freuberg, producer of the series Humankind, presents a powerful one-hour documentary of stories from people who are barely getting by, plus comments by experts on the working poor.
