Election Freak Out

AirTalk for October 28, 2008

Supporters of Obama and McCain can agree on this much...this has been a very long, very intense and emotional campaign. Do you find yourself mopping up every last blog post about the election? Are you unable to switch off CNN or FOX or MSNBC for more than a few minutes? Do you find yourself glued to this station, salivating for the latest morsel of campaign news? And are you a member of one of those families that's split between the two candidates...so that any discussion of politics can lead to a family blow up? In other words...is the election just turning you into a sleep-deprived, bleary-eyed, political stress monster! As we enter the final week, Larry asks KPCC's listeners: are you losing it over the election? Larry is joined by Drew Westen, professor of psychology at Emory University, and author of "The Political Brain: The Role of Emotion in Deciding the Fate of a Nation."
