The Third And Final Presidential Debate
President Donald Trump and Democratic challenger Joe Biden fought over how to tame the raging coronavirus during the campaign’s closing debate, largely shelving the rancor that overshadowed their previous face-off in favor of a more substantive exchange that highlighted their vastly different approaches to the major domestic and foreign challenges facing the nation.
With less than two weeks until the election, Trump portrayed himself as the same outsider he first pitched to voters four years ago, repeatedly saying he wasn’t a politician. Biden, meanwhile, argued that Trump was an incompetent leader of a country facing multiple crises and tried to connect what he saw as the president’s failures to the everyday lives of Americans, especially when it comes to the pandemic.
We recap.

Los Angeles Is Looking Into Two Potential Gondolas. What Do Those Plans Look Like, And What Would They Mean For The City
Los Angeles is looking into gondolas as a means to unclog two of the city’s most trafficked landmarks: Dodger Stadium and the Hollywood sign.
In Griffith Park, LA city officials are currently investigating four different plans to see where a gondola could take off from and land. The plans are facing resistance, however, from residents and environmentalists who are concerned about the gondola’s effect on the area’s flora and fauna.
At Dodger Stadium, plans are further in the future. The gondola would help to take cars off the road and alleviate some of the crowding to get into the stadium.
Today on AirTalk, we’re learning more about what gondolas could mean for the city. Questions? Comments? Call us at 866-893-5722.

Triple Play: In A Tied World Series, What To Look For In Game 3
After Brandon Lowe busted out in Game 2 of the World Series, the Rays and Dodgers are tied deep in the heart of Texas.
“Sometimes guys, you’ve got to allow them to go through some tough patches,” manager Kevin Cash said. “He will go quiet for a little while, but he can get as hot as anybody in baseball.”
Lowe hit two home runs to the opposite field, Tampa Bay’s bullpen held on late and the Rays beat Los Angeles 6-4 on Wednesday night.
After an off day, Game 3 in the best-of-seven Series matches two big-game pitchers starting on extra rest tonight. Charlie Morton goes for the Rays against Walker Buehler.
Los Angeles was the “home team” for the first two games but will bat first in the next three.
Today on AirTalk, we reconvene the Triple Play to talk about the World Series ahead of Game 3. Questions or comments? Leave them below or give us a call at 866-893-5722.
