From 2001 to 2003 John Yoo worked as a deputy assistant attorney general in the Office of Legal Counsel of the Department of Justice. He was the key legal architect of the Bush administration's response to 9/11. Larry talks with Yoo about his new book, War by Other Means, and his work for the Department of Justice which led to many of the Bush administration's most controversial policies, including detention at Guantanamo Bay, preemptive attacks, and the NSA's wiretapping program.
