Occult America

One only has to look at the eye-and-pyramid on the dollar bill to see the impact of occult beliefs on the American system. When looking at the religious evolution of America, historians have often neglected occult traditions, such as Spiritualism and mental-healing, as little more than oddball social trends to be debunked. In "Occult America," writer Mitch Horowitz argues that American occult movements have had a profound impact on the culture of America and the modern world.
