President Bush and John Kerry met last night for their first debate. The topic was foreign policy--Iraq, Russia, North Korea, and the global community. Larry and his guests analyze the debate and hear excerpts from John Kerry and President Bush. Joining him are Jonathan Wilcox, a Republican strategist and an Adjunct Professor at USC’s Annenberg School for Communication, and Lisa Garcia -Bedolla, Assistant Professor, Department of Political Science and Chicano/Latino Studies Program, UC Irvine.

Midnight Thursday was the deadline for Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to sign or veto numerous bills that have landed on his desk from the past legislative session. Larry Mantle discusses the remaining bills, which ones get signed and which ones get vetoed, with Sacramento Bee political reporter Margaret Talev.
