Westside Congestion Busting Initiative
Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and Beverly Hills Mayor Jimmy Delshad unveiled the "Olympic-West Pico-East" initiative at a news conference this morning. The plan is intended to reduce traffic delays along two of the Westside's most congested corridors by re-timing traffic lights so that those traveling west on Olympic and east on Pico would be rewarded with longer green lights. Those driving in the other direction might see their rides take longer. Larry and guest L.A. City Councilman Bill Rosendahl discuss the plan.
