Murrow was a seminal force in the creation and development of the craft and profession of electronic newsgathering. Larry also touches briefly on the departure of Bob Edwards as host of Morning Edition, a position he has held since the program’s beginning 25 years ago. Bob Edward’s book is titled Edward R. Murrow and the Birth of Broadcast Journalism.
