In April more than 1000 volunteers will patrol the Arizona-Mexico border, by air and by foot, in an effort to deter illegal border crossings. These civilians will be part of the month-long "Minuteman Project ," privately organized by Aliso Viejo resident Jim Gilchrist. President Bush fears the endeavor will promote vigilantism. Democratic Criticism of Governor Schwarzenegger
California Democratic Assembly Speaker Fabian Nunez and other Democrats have turned up the heat on Governor Schwarzenegger this week, criticizing him for his administration’s mock news videos, and for bypassing contribution limits through initiative committees. All of this comes in anticipation of the drive to have a special election in November. Experts Duf Sundheim, Chairmain of the California Republican Party, Raphe Sonenshein, Professor of Political Science at Cal State Fullerton, and Dario Frommer, California State Assembly Majority Leader and Assemblyman from the 43rd Assembly district join Larry to discuss mounting criticism of the Governor.
