Strategic Update
Larry Mantle and his guests talk about the military progress in the war against Iraq. Coalition forces are pressing toward Baghdad, as well as working to secure cities in Southern Iraq. What might that be like? Joining host Larry Mantle is "GI" Wilson, a retired Infantry Colonel in the USMC, and military analyst for ABC, channel 7, Dr. Conrad Crane, Director of the US Army Military History Institute, and Daryl Press, assistant professor of Government at Dartmouth College, whose research focuses on U.S. foreign policy and military analysis.
Humanitarian Relief in Iraq
What kind of humanitarian relief is available inside Iraq, and what is waiting to go in when the shooting stops? Mr. Halliday oversaw the Oil-For-Food Program, run by the UN and the Iraqi government. Also speaking with Larry is Nicholas be Torrent Executive Director of Doctors Without Borders and Anwar Khan, National Fundraising Coordinator of Islamic Relief in the United States.
