Water on Mars
The Mars rover "Opportunity" discovered evidence this week that suggests water used to soak parts of the Martian surface. Analysis of sediments and the discovery of sulfate deposits excited project scientists, who said that the evidence points to water on the red planet at some point in its history. Mark Adler, Deputy Mission Manager for the Mars Rovers Program, JPL, joins Larry Mantle to discuss the story.
