Medical Funding Deal

The Schwarzenegger administration has announced a deal with the federal government that will switch half a million Medi-Cal patients to a managed care program. The deal will result in an additional $3.3 billion in federal funds for the state, but hospitals, doctors, and patient advocates fear it will mean fewer services for the poor, and less money for providers. Jon Beaupre talks with health care advocates about how the deal will affect the people who rely on Medi-Cal.
