HIV Testing

Today, Monday, is National HIV testing day, part of an effort to encourage people to get tested and get the information they need to avoid and treat this disease. There are some 57,000 people living with HIV/AIDS in LA County, including an estimated 12,000 to 15,000 people who are unaware that they carry the virus. AIDS continues to kill more young Latino’s and African-American men than any other disease. Guest-host Jon Beaupre talks with experts on HIV education and testing.
