Split Supreme Court Decision On Wetlands Protection

AirTalk for June 20, 2006

Though a favorable decision for the plaintiffs, it is not the clear cut triumph they may have hoped for. The high court sent the case back to the lower courts for deliberation rather, ordering them to reconsider whether ditches and drains, miles away from protected wetlands, are waterways and thus regulated by the Clean Water Act. Larry and his guests examine this ruling and its impact on the protection of wetlands throughout the US.
