South Gate Recall Wrap-Up
The Treasurer of South Gate, Alfred Robles, along with three South Gate City Council members were ousted yesterday in a recall election. The police union, along with local businesses and residents launched the recall, accusing the city officials of rampant corruption. Larry Mantle talks with South GateÍs outgoing treasurer, Albert Robles, the new Treasurer, Rudy Navarro, and Jeff Monical, manager of the Campaign to Restore Integrity in South Gate. Also joining Larry is Adolfo Guzman Lopez, KPCC reporter who has been covering this story.
