In conjunction with the William S. Paley Television Festival at the Museum of Television & Radio, Larry Mantle speaks with Frances Conroy, who plays the mother "Ruth" in HBO's hit television series, "Six Feet Under." The new season begins on March 2nd at 9 p.m. Joining Larry also are Peter Falk, TVs deceptively bumbling detective, "Columbo," and Tony Shalhoub, the obsessive-compulsive "Detective Monk" on the USA-Network show by the same name.

Larry Mantle and critics Andy Klein of New Times and Henry Sheehan of HenrySheehan.com and the L.A. Weekly discuss this week's new film releases, including Cradle 2 the Grave, Poolhall Junkies, and Mad Song (filmed partly at KPCC).

The critics also share their thoughts on this week's video releases as well as the Andrei Tarkovsky Retrospective at the Nuart and Heroic Grace: The Chinese Martial Arts Film at UCLA. Henry Sheehan will be discussing Chinatown with Carl Franklin at the Skirball Cultural Center Friday the 28th of Feburary.
