SENATE REPUBLICANS BLOCK EVESDROPPING PROBE
Senate Republicans have blocked an investigation of the Bush Administration’s wiretapping program. Instead, the chairman of the Intelligence Committee said he had reached an agreement with the White House to pursue legislation that would give clearer guidelines for wiretapping.
